ROTFL 1950's A7 my ass. It's about 30 years newer. Some good info but don't quote the history verbatim, it is VERY myopic.

Line arrays were used 40 years before they became commonplace. It took cheap amp power to make them viable.

Olson did a lot of work in the 50's

Yes it is.. AFAIK they were all gray from the factory.. I'm sure you could probably had them painted but standard color was gray... When ALT reintroduced them.They were black like in that picture.
